Proposers

The initiative will provide opportunities to assemble Australia’s foremost analytical scientists in order to lay the foundations for a long-term research network.  This degree or type of collaboration has not previously been attempted within analytical science in Australia, however the size of the relevant community is numerically ideal for nationwide networking.

The initiative deliberately brings together scientists involved in both fundamental research in analytical science and those involved in its broader practice.  The proposers of ARNAS are drawn from all areas of Australian analytical science and are listed here.  It is envisaged that the ultimate structure of ARNAS will comprise a central hub of researchers, servicing and communicating with a wider group of practitioners from government and industry.  This two-tier structure is considered essential to ensure the maximum national benefit from the resultant network.
