Aims

The aims of ARNAS are as follows:

  1. National coordination of research in analytical science
  2. Sharing of major analytical facilities and instrumentation
  3. Stimulation of the development of early career researchers in analytical science
  4. Pooling of expertise to assemble the best possible team to undertake specific research projects
  5. Development and coordination of international collaborations
  6. Enhanced research training through mobility of PhD students (both nationally and internationally) and early career researchers
  7. Single point of entry for industry and government when seeking analytical expertise and collaboration
  8. Stimulation of inter-disciplinary research involving analytical science
  9. Promoting international exchange and visits through research placements, conferences and workshops
  10. Coordinated evaluation of new analytical technologies
